Die Kommunikation sowie Organisation unserer Reise mit ORO Travel war top! Pascal und Rossana machten einen super Job und haben uns eine fantastische Rundreise durch Nicaragua zusammengestellt! Nach der 5tägigen Auszeit auf Little Corn Island verbrachten wir während 16 Tagen eine sehr abwechlungsreiche Zeit. Wir bestiegen Vulkane, genossen Bootsfahrten mit vielen Vogelbeobachtungen, Sichtungen von Kaimanen, Krokodilen, Klammer- und Brüllaffen. Natürlich fehlten auch die Stadtrundgänge durch Leon und Granada nicht.
Vor allem dank unserem versierten Reiseleiter Jürgen, der uns viele spannende Informationen über Land und Leute näherbrachte und auch stets bereit war, kleinere Anpassungen des Programms vorzunehmen, hatten wir ein richtig gute Zeit! Nicht zu vergessen ist Henry unser Fahrer, der uns mit seiner umsichtigen Fahrweise sicher durch das Land chauffierte.

I read positive reviews about your company and decided to take a chance. The reviews were right. I would be happy to share our experience with a review. Where do you recommend I do that? The hotels you selected were perfectly located. We loved being able to walk from the hotel in both Leon and Granada to enjoy the sites, restaurants, and people watching.
Obviously Ometepe is a different scene however, we enjoyed that location as well. Having the cabin on the lake was great. The room we were assigned at El Convento had a view to the interior courtyard. Once we walked around the hotel to take in the beauty, we realized how lucky we were with the room we were assigned. I bet that hasto do with you and your company. We always prefer rooms with a view so we felt fortunate to be able to look out on the courtyard. At Hotel Read La Merced, we were assigned a room with no window. I went to the front desk and asked for a room with a windowbut they said we were in a superior room and it was not available. I asked about an
upgrade and for an additional cost we were moved to a Jr. Suite. It made it so much nicer to be able to see the sky, volcano and the city from our balcony. We didn’t evenmind the church bells ringing early. We particularly enjoyed Cafe Sonrisa. What a great cause to support.
We got very lucky on the volcanic rim hike in Granada. It was a clear day so visibility from the top of the volcano was stunning. The sloth with baby, howler monkeys and a lemur related animal all showed up for us. It could not have been better. I could go on and on about the particulars of the trip but I will stop. You know how wonderful it all is.

Our private driver Henry was happy to make stops whenever we wanted. We easily went from van to boat to canoe to hiking trail, all with excellent local guides.
Nicaragua is sadly under-visited by tourists but there are some truly amazing places to visit. ORO Travel will get you there!

Isabell did a great job of rearranging our tour to do things we would enjoy since we could not go to Masaya volcano. She was a joy to spend the day with. Michelle - February 2016Es war eine tolle Reise, es hat alles geklappt und wir haben viele neue Erfahrungen gesammelt. Vorallem Ariel, unser Fahrer in den Regenwald, war uns eine große Hilfe, da er viel für uns geregelt hat undwir haben uns bei ihm zu jeder Zeit gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Was etwas schade war, die Führungen imCEN und in der Kaffeplantage waren alle, bis auf eine im CEN, auf spanisch. Mit viel Nachfragen undeinfachstem Spanisch hat es jedoch einigermaßen geklappt.
Unser englischsprachiger Guide im CEN hat uns viel über das Leben mit der Natur erzählt und uns aufunserer Wanderung durch den Regenwald viel erklärt und gezeigt. Toll das es Menschen wie Geroge gibtdie mit Ihrer Arbeit anderen die Augen öffnen. Auch unser Guide auf Ometepe hat einen wirklich gutenJob gemacht. Sehr fürsorglich und zuvorkommend. Auch das Hotel auf Ometepe war sehr schön!
Wir haben gelernt, dass Nicaragua ein sehr abwechslungsreiches Land ist, was sowohl die Landschaft alsauch das Leben in der Stadt betrifft. Granada und Léon, zwei große Städte wie sie unterschiedlichernicht sein könnten.
Was uns wahrscheinlich besonders in Erinnerung bleiben wird, sind die lebensfrohen Menschen in Léonund die Markthallen. Granada hingegen empfanden wir als weniger herzlich.Vielen Dank für die tolle Organisation! Wir werden Sie weiterempfehlen.
