Jiquilillo

Jiquilillo is part of the Padre Ramos Estuary Nature Reserve, which protects the mangrove ecosystem peculiar to this area. There is a small fishing community with some beachside accommodation. Even a short stay in Jiquilillo promises active surfing, interesting excursions, participation in volunteer programs, and, of course, a pleasantly relaxing tropical beach rest.

Punta Teonoste

This isolated eco-Lodge lies right next to the Chacocente nature reserve. The lodge is made from sustainable resources and in a traditional style. The extra plus points go to the pristine private beach and the beautifully located swimming pool as well as the extra facilities such as horse riding and bike hire. A touch of “green” luxury at affordable prices.

San Juan del Sur

The most famous seaside destination in Nicaragua is in fact a colorful market town on a beautiful horseshoe sandy bay. Whether you opt to stay in the town or one of the many hostelries on the outskirts we can highly recommend a Macua (national cocktail) at one of the many beachside bars or restaurants while watching the sun set over the Pacific Ocean.

Morgan’s Rock

This is an upmarket eco-lodge that, if your budget allows, really should not be missed. If you opt for an inclusive package not only will you have all your meals sourced from the organic produce of the on-site farm, but you will also have access to all the activities on offer such as the wellness center, wildlife watching and water sports. All of this in an expansive private nature reserve.
